A 37-year-old motorcyclist has been killed in a single-vehicle crash in Co Limerick.

The collision happened at Garraun, Lisnagry at around 1.15am this morning.

The man was killed when the motorcycle on which he was travelling collided with a curb.

He was taken to Limerick Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Gardaí at Castleconnell are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the crash to contact them on 061 377105.
