Three men have been killed in two separate road accidents in Co Tipperary.
Two men were killed in a crash on the Roscrea road near Templemore at around midnight.
The two men, who were Polish, were aged 22 and 28.
A man was also killed in a collision between a motorcycle and a car.
The male motorcyclist, believed to be in his 20s, was killed in the crash at Newcastle near Clonmel, just before 6pm.
Nobody else was injured.
Road closed after Roscommon crash
The main Dublin to Westport road was closed this morning after a road traffic accident near Strokestown in Co Roscommon.
Five people were injured after two cars collided head-on at Scramogue, 5km from Strokestown on the Longford side.
None of the injuries are believed to be life threatening.
