A further eight men have appeared in court charged in relation to a riot which took place in Mullingar last July.
This brings to 55 the number charged with violent disorder.
One case was due to be heard after lunch.
The remaining suspects have been remanded on continuing bail to appear at a special sitting in May when it is hoped books of evidence will be ready.
