A Co Meath man, believed to be in his early 20s, has been killed in a road crash in Australia.
The accident happened in east Perth at around 06.30am local time yesterday (9.30pm Irish time, Friday).
The man who died was a front seat passenger of a car which crashed into a tree.
The Department of Foreign Affairs is assisting his family.
Three people, who are also believed to be from Co Meath, were also injured in the crash.
