A 22-year-old man has died and a woman has been seriously injured after a two car crash in Co Kildare.
The collision happened on the Monasterevin to Kildare Road just before 8pm.
The injured woman has been taken to the Midland Regional Hospital in Portlaoise.
The road remains closed and Garda forensic experts are at the scene.
