Two people have been charged with murdering a British couple on their honeymoon on the Caribbean island of Antigua.

Catherine and Ben Mullany, both aged 31 and from Wales, died after being shot during a robbery at a holiday resort just over three weeks ago.

A man aged 20 and a 17-year-old boy appeared before a court in St John’s, the capital of Antigua, charged with the killings, with robbery and with receiving stolen goods.

Dr Mullany was killed instantly and her husband died shortly after he was airlifted back to south Wales.
