A 16-year-old boy has died in a single-vehicle crash in Newcastle in Co Dublin.
He was a passenger in a car that went out of control along Lyon's Road shortly after 11pm last night.
The driver of the car has been brought to Tallaght Hospital.
His injuries are not known.
Separately, a cyclist was killed in a road crash near Crumlin, Co Antrim last night.
The man, who has been named as 46-year-old David James McCall, died when his bike collided with a car on the Belfast Road in the Nutts Corner area before 8pm.
A man who was arrested after the incident by the PSNI has since been released on bail.
