A woman in her 40s has been killed in a crash in Co Galway.
The two-car collision happened at Minna, Inverin on the main Spiddal to Carraroe road at 9.45pm last night.
The woman who died was the driver of one of the cars.
The driver and a passenger from the other car were taken to University Hospital Galway but their injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
The road was closed for a time but has now been reopened.
Gardaí at Salthill are investigating.
