Three people, including a three-month-old baby, have died in road accidents in counties Donegal and Tipperary.
16-year-old Kerry Ann Meehan, who was living in Manorview, Letterkenny, but was originally from Derry, died along with her baby daughter Neisha in a crash in Co Donegal.
The car in which they were travelling collided with a jeep pulling a trailer load of sheep.
The 18-year-old male driver of the car is described as being in a critical condition in Letterkenny General Hospital.
The driver of the jeep involved in the collision is described as stable.
The accident happened nearly 2.5km outside Letterkenny on the Glenties road at around 8.45pm last night.
In Co Tipperary, a man died when his car crashed on the N52 just outside Borrisokane around 9pm last night. He was the only occupant of the car.
In another accident in Co Antrim yesterday, a 48-year-old motorcyclist died following a road accident near Crumlin.
The man died after coming off his bike on the Glenavy road.
No other vehicle was involved in the collision, which took place just after midday. The PSNI has appealed for information.
