Four people have been taken to hospital following a two car collision in the early hours of this morning in Co Longford.
It happened at Briskill Cross, near Newtownforbes, at around 3.25am.
Two of those involved are said to be in a serious condition in hospital.
The road is closed, and motorists are advised to take an alternative route.
