Gardaí from Store Street have arrested a further five people following raids as part of operation Hawkeye Two.

The five are three men and two women, all in their 20s.

Eight people, including one juvenile, have appeared in court throughout the day. There were 13 arrests in total.

Gardaí searched 19 premises in Dublin city this morning.

The searches were carried out in the North Circular Road and Marlborough Road areas of the city.

A small amount of property and drugs were seized in the operation.

The eight arrested during the morning were six men and two women.

Operation Hawkeye Two has been targetting theft for the past two months.

The raids were carried out by gardaí from Store Street supported by officers from the Garda National Immigration Bureau.
