Gardaí have named the victim of yesterday's crash near Kinsale as Winifred O'Connell of Bandon Road, Kinsale in Cork.
The 69-year-old died after being struck by a truck at around 5.20pm yesterday evening.
The truck was leaving a construction site at Cappagh near Kinsale at the time.
Gardaí are investigating the crash.
