A teenager has been remanded in custody, charged with the rape of a woman in her 20s who was on holiday in Northern Ireland.
The alleged attack happened as the woman was out walking in Colin Glen Forest Park near west Belfast nine days ago.
The 15 year-old youth, who cannot be named because of his age, appeared this morning before Lisburn Magistrates Court.
He was further charged with false imprisonment and assault.
A PSNI detective told the court he believed he could connect the accused to the offences.
Cross-examined by a defence solicitor, the detective said the accused had attended voluntarily for questioning under the express wishes of his father and that he had denied the three charges.
The youth is due to appear again in court via videolink on 6 May.
