A 26-year-old man has died in hospital in Co Donegal this afternoon following a crash at Pearse Road, Letterkenny, on Sunday morning.
A post mortem examination will take place at Letterkenny General Hospital tomorrow.
The dead man was struck by a car as he walked on Pearse Road.
This car stopped at the scene of the crash and the incident is under investigation.
Gardaí at Letterkenny are asking anyone who was in the Port Road/ Pearse Road/ Station Roundabout area between 2.30am and 4am on Sunday to contact them on 074 916 7100.
