A 26-year-old man has been seriously injured in a road accident in Co Donegal.
The collision between a car and a pedestrian happened at 3.50am this morning on Pearse Road in Letterkenny town.
The man was brought to Letterkenny General Hospital. He is in a serious condition.
The driver of the car was not injured and the road from the Station Roundabout onto Pearse Road and up to the McDonalds restaurant is closed until further notice.
Motorists are advised to use an alternate route.
