A man has appeared in Kilmainham District Court charged in connection with the shooting of a doorman at a Dublin nightclub.
Wayne McNally, 23, of Ross Road in Christchurch in Dublin, made no reply when charged with possession of a Glock 9mm semi-automatic pistol with intent to endanger life.
A 38-year-old doorman, from Hush nightclub at the Red Cow Inn on the Naas Road, is still being treated in hospital after he was shot in the neck on 10 February.
Garda Basil Grimes applied to have the accused remanded for one week and said there was no objection to legal aid.
The court was also told that Mr McNally would need medical treatment while in prison.
Judge Brian Sheridan remanded Mr McNally in custody for one week to Cloverhill Prison.
