A man in his early 30s has been killed in a single vehicle crash in Co Wexford.

The accident happened in Libgate in Kilmore Quay at 8.30am this morning, when the car the man was a passenger in struck a wall.

The 45-year-old driver was taken to Wexford General Hospital, where his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

The road at the scene is closed while Garda forensic collision investigators carry out their enquires.

In Dublin, two people have been injured in a two-vehicle collision in Finglas.

A van and a car were involved in the accident, which happened between the Kilshane Cross and the Coldwinters turn-off.

The two people were passengers in the car. They were taken to Connolly Hospital in Blanchardstown, but their injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
