A man has been charged in connection with the death of a 66-year-old man following an altercation in Mulhuddart in west Dublin earlier today.
The 27-year-old was released on bail this evening and is due before Dublin District Court on 19 February.
It is understood the 66-year-old man was fatally injured when he was hit by a car in the Mulhuddart area.
A second man in his 40s was injured in the incident and is in a stable condition at Connolly Hospital.
A spokesperson for the hospital said that the man's injuries are not serious.
Gardaí were called to the incident at around 2am this morning.
Garda Forensic experts examined two crime scenes on Wellview Grove and Wellview Avenue.
