One person has died in a car crash in Co Offaly.
The collision happened at 11.30am at Annaharvey on the Tullamore to Portarlington road.
The 38-year-old woman was killed when the car she was driving was in collision with another car.
A three-year-old girl who was also in the car is said to be in a serious condition in Dublin's Temple Street Children's Hospital.
Five people who were travelling in the second car were also injured. Three of them were being treated at the Midlands Regional Hospital for injuries described as not life threatening.
The road where the collision occurred re-opened at around 8pm tonight.
