A brother and sister died when their car was involved in a collision with another vehicle near Enniskillen Co Fermanagh this morning.
The deaths bring to 112 the number of people killed on Northern Ireland's roads during 2007.
The two victims, who were in their late teens or early twenties, were the driver and passenger in a White Mercedes car that collided with a Red Volkswagen Passat, two miles from Enniskillen, on the main road to Irvinestown.
The man in his 60s who was driving the Passat was brought to Enniskillen hospital with back injuries which police say are not life theatening.
The PSNI has not yet named the people who died but their family members live in the area and went to the scene of the accident during the day.
The total number of fatalities on Northern Ireland's roads since January is a reduction on the 126 deaths in 2006 and 135 in 2005.
The PSNI officer leading the investigation into this morning's fatal crash, Inspector Mervyn Elliot, has appealed to all drivers to wear seat belts and to exercise caution over the holiday period.
