The Mullingar-based wine store whose warehouse was badly damaged in a fire last night will be open for business again tomorrow.

The owner of Wines Direct, Paddy Keogh, said the company, which supplies many Dublin restaurants, has secured alternative premises.

The company's website says telephone and online orders will not be processed until next week.

The fire was reported at the Wines Direct building on the Green Road in the town about 9pm last night.

It took the emergency services more than two hours to get the fire under control. No-one was injured.
