A woman in her 30s has died following a road accident in Limerick.
The woman died after her car hit a tree near Croom, on the N20 Limerick to Cork road, at around 9am this morning.
The road will remain closed pending a full investigation.
Gardaí from Askeaton are investigating.
Separately, the victim of Tuesday's collision in Ballinasloe has been named as 41-year-old Mary Johnson of Kilclooney, Co Galway.
