Independent TD Finian McGrath has outlined to the Dáil some of the details of his agreement with the Taoiseach in return for supporting the Government.
He said the use of Shannon Airport by foreign troops on their way to war, which is not sanctioned by the United Nations, will in the future have to be approved by the Dáil.
He said he had always been a supporter of the anti-war movement, and had done his best in the negotiations to pursue these matters.
Deputy McGrath also said the deal included a commitment to retain Greendale Community School in Dublin for education purposes, without selling of any of its land.
He added the deal included a number of other education and disability projects in his Dubiln North Central constituency.
Deputy McGrath also said he had secured agreement for a €1.7m upgrade of the Tolka River flood relief works.
