A 49-year-old man was killed in a fatal road accident in Co Cork this evening.
The single vehicle collision happened on the road between Clondrohid and Ballyvourney at around 6.15pm approximately.
The man was driving a Nissan Primera car that went of control and crashed into a ditch.
The driver, who was the only occupant in the car, was thrown from the vehicle on impact.
He was pronounced dead at the scene. The dead man has been idenitified as a Polish National. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
