Gardaí have released the names of the two men killed in separate road accidents in counties Sligo and Dublin over the weekend.
88-year-old Martin Marren from Toulestrane, Aclare died after the car he was driving left the road and collided with a tree yesterday evening at Stonepark in Aclare in County Sligo.
He was the sole occupant of the car.
In Dublin, 47-year-old Dominic Matthews with an address at North Circular Road in Dublin died after he was struck by a lorry at Dorset Street on Friday night.
