A man has died in a road traffic accident in Co Meath.
The accident happened when the car he was driving left the road and crashed into a tree at Lagore, Rathoath.
The driver was removed to James Connolly Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead. No other vehicle was involved.
The man, who was in his 30s, has not yet been named.
Gardaí at Ashbourne are investigating.
Earlier, the two men who were killed in a road accident in Co Westmeath in the early hours of Saturday morning were named.
They were 19-year-old Simon Henry and 32-year-old Vivian Nolan, both from The Downs, Mullingar.
The crash happened close to the Downs GAA football ground, shortly before 2am.
Gardaí say the car overturned and burst into flames after going into a ditch.
A third man was pulled from the car by a passerby.
