A 24-year-old man is recovering in hospital in Galway following a stabbing incident in the city in the early hours of this morning.
A man in his 30s who was arrested following the incident is being questioned by gardaí in Mill Street.
The injured man was stabbed in the stomach during a row involving a number of people at Market Street in the city centre.
He was taken to University College Hospital; his injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
