Gardaí have seized a substantial quantity of cash and stolen property during the course of planned searches in the Ballyporeen area of Co Tipperary.
The searches were conducted over the weekend as part of an investigation into a number of recent burglaries in the south Tipperary and north Cork areas.
No arrests have been made to date. However, the investigation is ongoing and further searches are expected in the coming days.
The investigation is being co-ordinated by gardaí in Cahir as part of Operation Anvil.
Gardaí from the Cork Division and detectives from the Dublin Metropolitan Region are assisting.
