A 46-year-old man and a 29-year-old woman have died in a fire in Cabra in Dublin.
The blaze was reported at a flat in a house on Ellesmere Avenue after 10pm last night.
It is understood the fire started at the back of the four bedroom house.
Four units of the Dublin Fire Brigade attended the scene. Fire officers say they do not believe anyone else was in the house when the fire broke out.
The fire has been extinguished and the scene has been preserved pending a technical examination later today.
However gardaí have said they do not believe the fire was suspicious.
Post mortem examinations are due to take place later.
