Firefighters have rescued a mother and her three-year-old son who became trapped when a blaze took hold at the front door of their apartment in Dublin.
The alarm was raised shortly after 2.30am this morning at the Mountdown estate in Perrystown.
It is thought vandals may have set a bin on fire outside the property.
Neither the mother nor her child was injured.
