Charles Haughey's lawyers have informed the Moriarty Tribunal that in light of his medical condition he will not be able to provide evidence this week. Mr Justice Moriarty said that he was considering a medical report provided to the Tribunal and he is now examining the possibility of altering the manner in which Mr Haughey gives evidence. Up to now Mr Haughey has been giving evidence for two hours a day, three to four days a week. The Chairman also said that he would now be calling other witnesses when the sittings resume.
