BSkyB's bid for a 9% stake in Leeds United is likely to be rejected at next month's vote by the shareholders. Despite BSkyB's willingness to pay £13.8million for the venture the shareholders seem set to veto the move on October 4th. Such a move could hinder David O'Leary's hopes of replacing striker Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink. Today O'Leary called for all Premiership matches to be switched to Sunday after midweek internationals to give players time to properly recover. He says that putting back the programme 24 hours would ease the problem.
