Republic of Ireland striker Robbie Keane is insisting that he is happy to stay with Wolverhampton Wanderers in the First Division, despite reports that Middlesbrough are leading a race with Leeds and other top clubs for his £7 million signature. Keane says that nobody has spoken directly to him about a move and added that with three years left on his contract, he still wants to help Wolves reach the Premiership. Meanwhile Ireland midfielder Jason McAteer has been ruled out of the Republic of Ireland side for Wednesday's Group Eight European Championship qualifying tie against Macedonia at Lansdowne Road. McAteer failed a fitness test on a calf injury and his place goes to Wimbledon's Mark Kennedy, who will win his 22nd cap.
