A 26-year-old County Kerry man has been sentenced to life imprisonment at the Central Criminal Court for the murder of a teenager.

Michael O'Brien of Gallowsfield, Tralee, was found guilty of the murder of 16-year-old James Healy of Shanakill in Tralee. The court strongly recommended that O'Brien be sent to the Central Mental Hospital in Dundrum, to be treated for what was described as a personality disorder.
