Lorcan Murray's Classic Drive Thursday 9 November 2017
Described by Lonely Planet as one of the best museums in Europe, marking Culture Night, Lorcan Murray celebrates the unique appeal and collections of The Chester Beatty Library.
All week, Luke Clancy goes behind the scenes to talk to the curators and hear the stories about the collection. On Friday, Early Music specialist Ann Buckley will bring a medieval music manuscript alive through performance, Jill Unkel and musician Laoise O'Brien reveal the links between a 17th century Irish Rubens sketch and a composition called The English Nightingale, and Lorcan has some tips about how to get the best out of your Culture Night visit to this unique museum.
