The word 'concerto' means to come together in harmony, but also to fight against each other! This morning we'll hear concertos that feature solo instruments with orchestra; each playing their own part but also coming together to form one great concerto. Tune in to hear a Trumpet Concerto by Haydn, a Piano Concerto by Rachmaninov, a Violin Concerto by Mendelssohn and a Clarinet Concerto by Mozart.

    Sunday October 11th
This morning we'll hear music written about different types of vehicles! We'll ride in a sports car with music by John Adams, take a trip on a train thanks to Villa Lobos and go sailing with Claude Debussy. We'll also hear fascinating facts about JS Bach, including why he spent a month in prison!
