Elspeth Hanson presents a mix of classical favourites this afternoon, and at 3pm we're live from the National Concert Hall as Paul Herriott introduces 'Glorious Gounod', featuring Our Lady’s Choral Society with soloists Sinéad Campbell- Wallace (Soprano), Andrew Gavin (Tenor), Padraic Rowan (Bass), and the RTE Concert Orchestra conducted by Proinnsias O Duinn. Join us for the 200th birthday celebration of the great composer, with works including his Messe Solennelle St. Cecilia and extracts from Romeo and Juliet and Mors et Vita, the Ave Maria and more. Join Elspeth Hanson for classocal favourites this afternoon including highlights from the final 'Sounds Amazing' concert, recorded at the National Concert Hall and presented by Aedín Gormley and Niall Carroll.

For our last outing of Sounds Amazing we are delighted to bring the multi award-winning toast of the West End, Killian Donnelly to the stage of the National Concert Hall.  Since the moment he joined the cast of Les Miserables in 2008, Killian has not looked back; making major roles in Billy Elliott, Les Mis, The Phantom of the Opera and Kinky Boots his own.  Killian will be joined on stage by Molly Lynch (pictured) and they will perform hits from Carousel, Les Miserables, The Phantom of The Opera, Funny Girl and Beauty and the Beast, with the RTÉ Concert Orchestra conducted by Stephen Bell.
