It's hard to believe that the summer is almost over and before you know it, we'll be packing the school lunch boxes once more! Here is a tasty recipe to get you started.


Makes 10

  • 2 ripe bananas (about 1 cup mashed)
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup maple syrup
  • 2 cups oatlets
  • 1/3 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1 tbsp seeds (sunflower & pumpkin)
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • Handful flaked almonds
  • Bake on 180° for 12 mins


  1. Mix all ingredients together except the flaked almonds
  2. Use an ice cream scoop to scoop the mixture onto a lined baking tray
  3. Flatten gently
  4. Sprinkle flaked almonds and press down gently
  5. Bake on 180° for about 10-12 mins or until golden

TIP: It's delicious to drizzle some melted white or milk chocolate on them for an extra treat or even add a few chocolate chips inside!
