Frozen Red Velvet

Ingredients:

  • 250ml freshly squeezed orange juice, plus extra if needed
  • 225g frozen raspberries
  • 
1 banana, peeled and roughly chopped

  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 3 tbsp rolled oats

Method:

  1. Place all of the ingredients into a smoothie maker and blend until smooth (or use a jug and hand-held stick blender).
  2. Add a little extra orange juice if you think it’s a bit thick.
  3. Pour into glasses to serve.

Nutty Mango and Banana Smoothie

Ingredients:

  • 225ml freshly squeezed orange juice, plus extra if needed
  • 100ml natural probiotic yoghurt

  • 1 ripe mango, peeled and flesh roughly chopped

  • 1 banana, peeled and roughly chopped
  • Small handful of oats
  • 1 tbsp almond butter
  • Ice cubes, to serve

Method:

  1. Place all of the ingredients, except the ice, into a smoothie maker and blend until smooth (or use a jug and hand-held stick blender).
  2. Pour into glasses half-filled with ice to serve.

Kick Ass Kale Kleaner

Ingredients:

  • 2 large handfuls of kale

  • 480ml freshly pressed apple juice, plus extra if needed
  • Juice of 1⁄2 lime

  • 1 banana, peeled and roughly chopped

  • Ice cubes, to serve

Method:

  1. Place all of the ingredients, except the ice, into a smoothie maker and blend until smooth (or use a jug and hand-held stick blender).
  2. If it is a little thick, add in a little extra apple juice.
  3. Pour into glasses half-filled with ice and serve.
