SEAT Ireland claims that in the last 12 months, it has increased its sales by 64% to confirm its place as Ireland's fastest-growing car brand.

This impressive year-on-year growth now gives SEAT a small but significant 3% market share.

Cian O'Brien, Director of SEAT Ireland, commented: "It gives us great satisfaction to see how much we have progressed this year.

"2013 has been a phenomenal year for the brand and we relish the challenges and opportunities 2014 has to offer...

"SEAT is a very ambitious brand and we have introduced superb new products this year [2013], and look forward to the arrival of further new products in the new year including the all-new SEAT Leon Sports Tourer. "Undoubtedly, 2013 cements our status as Ireland's fastest-growing car brand."
