Team Sky rider and 2013 Tour de France winner Chris Froome recently visited Jaguar Land Rover global headquarters at Gaydon, Warwickshire for a high performance test of the Jaguar F-TYPE sports car.
Froome was recently presented with a new F-TYPE by Jaguar to celebrate his remarkable Tour win.
While on track at the Jaguar Land Rover proving ground, Froome was also treated to a dynamic experience in a prototype version of the innovative C-X75.
The Jaguar C-X75 is a state-of-the-art hybrid supercar with the efficiency of a low-emissions city car.
The C-X75 can hit 100mph from standstill in less than six seconds and has a top speed of 220mph.
Its 502bhp, 1.6-litre turbocharged and supercharged four-cylinder engine is one of the world's highest specific power output powerplants at 313bhp per litre.
The C-X75's two electric motors add a further 390bhp for a combined output in excess of 850bhp.
As well as experiencing these Jaguar sports cars, Froome took the unique opportunity to ride his Team Sky Pinarello bike alongside the F-TYPE, before flying to the US for the Tour of Colorado.
Jaguar has been a partner to Team Sky since the team's very first season of racing in 2010.
The team is supported in its year-round racing and training activities by a fleet of Jaguar XF Sportbrakes.
