Always one for being frank and honest about the facts of life, Jennifer Zamparelli has made a name for herself as someone unafraid to talk about the realities of womanhood, motherhood and the rest.

Just last year, she opened up about getting her tubes tied and how the decision was partly down to the busy lives she and her husband Lau live, a very relatable move for many families.

But the presenter has opened up once again, this time about wanting another baby while talking to Lottie Ryan on the Jennifer Zamparelli show on 2FM this morning.

Catching up after Lottie held down the fort for Jen while she was on holiday, the pair joked about taking more time off. Things got a little more serious when Lottie jokingly asked, "Are you getting pregnant again?"

"That can't happen", Jen replied firmly. "He won't give me another one, if anyone wants to give me theirs."

"Why, would you have another one?" asked Lottie. "Oh, yeah", the host replied, leaving Lottie admitting "I'm shocked".

"One of the biggest regrets of my life, getting the auld tubes [tied]", she added.

It's a fair response given how candid Jen has been in the past about her decision to have her tubes tied after welcoming two children, Florence and Enzo, with husband Lau. She made the revelation last year in an interview with VIP Magazine, saying she was "stitched up" after the birth of her son.

"My tubes are tied. I had a C-section and while the surgeon was down there - job done", she said at the time. "Lau really didn't want to have any more. Life is busy enough with two and with work. And the jobs that we are in, they're not steady jobs."

As Lottie said in their chat this morning, it took just two and a half years for Jen to regret the decision, but the radio host says she's been feeling broody for a while now.

"It was maybe about a year ago I started [thinking about it]." However, according to the presenter, it's not reversible: "It's not like getting the snip!" she joked.

Lottie was full of suggestions for getting around that obstacle, however, joking you can go down the "turkey basting" route. "I'll look into it!" was Jen's last word on the matter ... for now.
