When it comes to sustainability, it is truly younger people who are leading the charge. Whether that's adopting a more vegetarian diet, swapping single-use plastics for eco-friendly versions or championing vintage and thrift shopping, the kids really are the future!
So leave it to the passionate kids of Scoil Caithriona on Dublin's Baggot Street to give some tips on having a more sustainable Christmas in the RTÉ podcast Ecolution.
Cody, Amber and Ella led the way, selling second-hand toys at Mud Island Community Garden and sharing their eco-friendly tips and tricks. Over at the Gifted Fair at the RDS, a sustainable edit was front and centre showcasing the designers and makers taking a greener approach at all stages of craftmanship.
Finally, the kids visited the Rediscovery Centre in Ballymun where craftspeople helped them buy better and giving new life to pre-loved things.
