Work your space

School might be out for summer but you can still indulge in some fancy stationery with Søstrene Grene's new school and office collection, which will be in store from July 27th.

You’ll find everything you need to keep your office space stocked and beautifully organised, with calendars, bulletin boards, drawer cabinets and magazine racks. All paper used in the notebooks is FSC-certified which means that they are produced using wood from forests that are managed ethically and sustainably.

And, of course, if you want to get prepped for back to school early, there are fun finds for kids like lunchboxes, water bottles, school bags and cute stationery from less than €1.

A pizza the action

Upgrade your al fresco dining experience this summer by trying al fresco cooking (and I don’t just mean a barbecue). Lidl launched a free-standing multi-function outdoor pizza oven (€119.99) on June 27th, which will allow you to cook freshly-made 12-inch pizzas on the cordierite pizza stone.

But to keep grill-lovers happy, you can also cook tasty barbecue bites. There is an integrated temperature gauge, with a handy wire bottom where you can store logs, and an ash catcher.

Finding uses for plastic waste is high on the agenda for most companies today and Copenhagan-based lifestyle brand Ferm Living is showing its commitment by introducing the new Way series made from upcycled plastic bottles and recycled polyester.

To start, there are just four stylish items in the collection from €55 – a woven rug (made from 292 plastic bottles), a runner (148 plastic bottles), mat (48 plastic bottles) and cushion (55 plastic bottles), that can be used both inside and outside thanks to the soft but highly durable texture of each piece.
