Earlier this week, the full timetable for the hotly awaited WellFest 2019, in association with KBC was revealed and it does not disappoint with names like Fearne Cotton, Joe Wicks, Alice Liveing, and The Skin Nerd featuring on the line-up.
Now in its fifth year, WellFest has grown to become Europe’s largest outdoor health and wellness festival and just shows the growing appetite (pun intended!) among the Irish for finding ways to live a healthier, more active and more positive life. Whether it’s a workout, a cooking demo, a thought-provoking discussion or a family day out you’re after, there’s something for everyone at this year’s event.
Fionnualla Cleary, co-founder of WellFest says: "There is so much for attendees to go to, take part in and learn from over the course of the weekend. We try to make the festival as inclusive as we can – with classes for all levels, including beginner, advanced, pre and post-natal, and even the expanded kids’ area this year. We want to encourage people from all walks of life to enjoy a healthy, wholesome, fun weekend with family and friends."
If you’re looking to put a pep in your step, there is no shortage of classes to attend across the weekend. Joe Wicks returns this year with his ‘Lean in 15 HIIT’ workout on the main stage on the Sunday. Alice Liveing will be there to put us through our paces on Saturday. FLYfit have classes throughout the weekend, as do Platinum Pilates.
Food for thought
Ella Mills, founder of Deliciously Ella will be discussing ‘Lessons in food, life, and business’, Dr. Megan Rossi will be telling us if Gut Health is the key to happiness. On the theme of happiness and food, The Happy Pear will be there with their healthy eating, happy life philosophy and there will be enough cooking demos, food discussion, and eateries to quench any appetite.
Sit back and listen
The WellTalk stage will be brimming with interesting discussions and Q&A sessions to leave you filled with knowledge and inspiration. From Fearne Cotton and The Skin Nerd to the Kavanagh brothers, John and James, there’s a great mix to set us up to laugh, learn and listen.
