The 2018 National Ploughing Championships have come and gone - and, oh my, it was a memorable one. 

Storm Ali may have wreaked havoc on the events of Day 2 but the RTÉ team managed to plough on through from the Central Hotel; Marty Whelan went live on air from reception, Bláthnaid Ní Chofaigh kept spirits high and Joe Duffy spoke to some real characters.

Once things were back up and running, the RTÉ tent was buzzing with excitement as Marty Morrissey took to the dance floor, Ryan Tubridy met his biggest fan and Jake Carter dropped by to take selfies with fans.
