The People of the Year Awards shone a spotlight on some of Ireland's finest. We headed to the red carpet at Dublin's Mansion House to find out who the celebs would choose as their personal 'everyday hero'.
Unsurprisingly, the Irish mammy topped the list for most of our celebs but dads, carers and sisters got a look in too.
The People of the Year Awards are an incredibly special event that honours those who go above and beyond to help others. Nominated by the public, the awards remind us to not only report on these incredible feats of bravery but to celebrate them too.
