It's beginning to feel a lot like Christmas...
We have tried to avoid it over the last few weeks but as we head into December there is only one person on most peoples minds, and it's not Leo Varadkar.
There are so many festive events all over the country including Christmas Markets, Pantos, Movies, Cribs and, of course, Santa.
We've listed a few fun family events around Ireland but you'll find more ideas on YourDaysOut.ie
1. Go Kids Go Disco
Get December off to a rocking start with a fun kids disco this Sunday from 6pm to 8pm in Go Kids Go Play & Party Centre in Blanchardstown.
Boys and girls from 7 to 11 can dance to the beat of all the latest chart toppers and bounce around the play frames to burn off the last of their weekend energy.
2. Christmas Experience at Clonfert Pet Farm
Santa arrives in Kildare this weekend and on 9th, 16th & 17th of December. Vist for some Christmas magic, explore Santa's workshop, cowshed theatre and meet Santa and Mrs. Claus.
3. The Jungle's Christmas Wonderland
This festive family event is unique in its offerings for not only can visitors share a meet and greet with Santa but, they can also have a giggle with his colourful Elves, enjoy The Jungle’s exciting adventure activities, get creative with a spot of Arts & Crafts, grab a cuddle in the Woodland Petting Farm and listen to Mrs Claus' tell a Christmas story.
4. Annual Howth Tree Lighting
Festive fun in Howth on Sunday for the annual turning on the Christmas Tree lights event with support from the Country Kitchen.
Live music from the Howth Gospel Choir, entertainment, family fun and a special visit from Santa.
5. The Moving Crib
The Moving Crib has been a feature of Christmas in Dublin for over sixty years. On December 3rd the wonderful Bray Gospel Choir will be performing throughout the day.
6. Carrigaline Christmas Fayre
Festive family fun and shopping this weekend in Cork with a wide range of crafts and gift stalls including Chrismas gift ideas, local art & crafts, jewellery, knitwear, toys, books, home-baking and more.
The will also be a raffle with some incredible prizes, a Christmas cafe serving mulled wine and mince pies and lots of games and entertainment for children including Santa's grotto.
7. Home Alone
The Lighthouse Cinema in Smithfield will be showing the festive classic Home Alone over the Christmas season. The first screening is this Sunday 3rd at 12:45.
8. Trim Christmas Market
The Trim Christmas Market will take place over the weekend on Market Street featuring stalls with local food and craft, Christmas gifts, a Teddy workshop and Santa's Grotto.
9. Hansel & Gretel

10. Christmas Market at The Argory
