Christmas in most houses is manic. Everybody can end up on tablets, in different rooms so how do you get them all together? RTÉ Radio's Shay Byrne and Mummy Vs The World blogger Jennie Dennehy share their tips. Watch Shay's video above and Jennie's tips below where they shared their tips with RTÉ LifeStyle's Taragh Loughrey-Grant.

Presenter of RTÉ Radio 1's Rising Time, Shay Byrne, has this advice: "It’s 'give and take', everyone gets different responsibilities. They get rewarded with a bit of screen time for that.

"The broadband router is the power, once you have the router you have the power because you can just turn it off! Or you can collect all the devices.

"Games like charades are good to get everyone together.

"Quizzes are also good for getting everyone spending time and working together while also helping with spellings and maths. As kids get older the pressure is on to make up questions that can suit different ages and different interests. It’s about customising the quiz to suit everyone."
