The Design Doctors get inspired by Kilruddery House, Co. Wicklow.
Killruddery House is a situated on the southern outskirts of Bray, Co.Wicklow.
The present structure originally dates from the 17th century, but it was remodeled and extended in 1820 in the Elizabethan style.
The house is a living, working house, gardens and farm, and the gardens at Killruddery are the oldest surviving original 17th century gardens in Ireland.
The Design Doctors were amazed by the beautiful gardens and the Orangery at Killruddery, and use this as inspiration for drawing the outside in and making the conservatory feel work in Martin and Morlin’s home in Donnybrook.
